We will provide Santa, so just bring your camera/phone to get a picture. We request a $5 donation that will go directly to caring for the pets at Strayhaven.

We will be at Tractor Supply starting at 12:00pm with merchandise for sale.

Strayhaven Animal Shelter will be holding its 3rd Annual “Run for the Paws 5K Run/Walk” fundraising event on October 14, 2023 at 10:00 am. This event will take place in Riverside Park and will utilize the Shenango River Trail. Our goal is to have members of our community and beyond participate in the event in hopes of raising awareness and donations for our cause. Strayhaven Animal Shelter provides veterinary care, food, and shelter for the homeless and abused animals of Mercer Country. We run solely off of donations and appreciate any contribution and support!

Registration includes t-shirt, race bib, and post-race snacks.

Join us on Sunday September 24th for out first Capital Campaign Kick Off Party!

This event is free for community members to attend to learn more about Strayhaven Animal Shelter’s plan for a new facility. We will have information on naming opportunities, our new building blueprint to view, and Strayhaven merch for sale.

Food and refreshments will also be provided.

No RSVP needed for this party! Grab your friends and come say hello!

Thanks to the Glenn and Jean Harnett Foundation, Strayhaven Animal Shelter is hosting a pet food give back day.

On Sunday September 10th we will be at the Mercer Fire Department Hall and will have bags of cat and dog food to give away to community members in need.

Each family will receive a bag of cat and/or dog food.

We will also be selling Strayhaven merchandise!

No RSVP needed! Just show up between 10am and 1pm.

Join us on October 8th at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville, PA for a Blessing of the Animals.

Bring your cat or dog (in a crate or leashed) to Holy Trinity Church at 3pm for a blessing and receive a free bag of cat or dog food. The event will take place in Central Park next to the Church.

Grant for the cat and dog food was graciously provided by the Glenn and Jean Harnett Foundation.

On Saturday February 5th Golden Pizza will donate 10% of all medium and large pizza sales to Strayhaven! Check out the menu on their Facebook page.

This event will take place in Riverside Park in front of the Amphitheater and will utilize the Shenango River Trail. Our goal is to have members of our community and beyond participate in the event in hopes of raising awareness and donations for our cause.
Two events will be taking place - 5k run/walk and the Pup Parade.
5k run/walk will begin at 9 am and the Pup Parade will begin at 10 am.
Halloween costumes for dogs are encouraged and a prize will be given for best costume!

Each participant will receive a long sleeved event t-shirt and post-race snacks!
